I personally am happy with most multi-culturalism. But there does appear a relationship between Muslim men and rape and disrespect for non-Muslim women. Much of it is due to the mother drilling it into them that non-Muslim women are sluts and slags, and hence the boys get the idea that they are fitting victims.
The Australian Government has seen fit not to
accept the cultural practice of FGM (female genital mutilation) and bans
parents from sending their little girls overseas to be mutilated. Nor can we accept cultural practices such
as whipping, stoning to death, amputation of hands, "honour killings"
or throwing acid in women's faces, etc.
But I make
the point again, "we may not agree with what you say, but defend your
right to say it."
